General Rules
- Do NOT use any racist, ethnical or gender questionable speech and names. Offending a Staff member: Players are prohibited to use offensive, illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, vulgar, sexist, obscene, hateful, racist, ethnical or otherweise questionable speech toward any staff member. Staff members consist of: [ADM], [GM], [GMA], [GS], [NUB] *If a Staff member is offended, they may silence ban, movement ban, /kick. If you are reported for racist, ethnical or gender questionable speech or for not listening to what a staff member says. Any conversation on a chat program like Skype with a GM/ADM present is included in this.
- Do not Hack, Skill cut, Stat Pad, Dup Items, Anything of the Sort.
- Do not Use the same name as a staff member, and do not Disguise yourself as a staff member!
- KS'ing is NOT allowed in maps(normal mobs) but IS allowed on bosses. Resetting the bosses is considered harassment if done against your own faction and will result in punishments administered. (Solo farming is an instant ban)
- Boss raids MUST be open. Multiple raids are not allowed unless the population doesn't allow for 1 raid, in this case guild raids will then be allowed but the raid MUST be auto join. (This excludes faction jumpers as we do not support faction jumping) Farming in a boss in a party is not allowed as the party itself cannot be considered "open". *Must announce open raid (not bosses) in trade chat*
- The minimum age for game play is 18. Anyone under 18 registering an account is submitting they have parental consent to play games with a high maturity level and graphic nature. Altho our rules prohibit certain language usage, we are not responsible for any insult taken from communication or interaction with the other players.
- DO NOT IMPERSONATE STAFF. This is not limited just to usage of the name. If a rule is being broken then a staff member needs informed, enforcing a rule is NOT the responsability of a player and is seen as impersonating staff.
- Lost Items : Items lost due to the player not performing an action such as using Warehouse will not be replaced. The player must transact and do more than go afk in order for the server to save the data. Disconnection while afk does not qualify for item replacement in these cases.
In Game Chats

- Repeatedly posting the same message in the in game chat channels is considered spamming and therefore forbidden. Posting links or references with no relation to Shaiya is also prohibited.
- Only English is accepted in trade chat. Other chats are not global chats used for commerse and are therefore not included as a universal language required medium.
- You must also not ask for cheats, hacks, bugs, exploits or bots.
- Furthermore writing with CAPS-LOCK activated is undesirable in the chats.
- Stat Padding will not be tolerated. Will result in Perm Ban
- Mentioning another server in a light that can be seen as advertising or promotion is a bannable offense and does not require a warning!!
Grief-Play:
(undesired interference of other player's game play)
Other players must not be disturbed intentionally by one's own playing style. In contrast to the general rules of conduct, this rule is related to the application of game methods which may present an extreme disruption of game play or harassment to other players. This may include "Training" (attracting monsters on other characters intending them to be killed by these mobs) or distracting a boss enemy who is in battle with others to make him lose focus and regain full health points.
These rules do not affect exclusively PvP-related matters, e.g. repeatedly killing the same opponent in a PvP zone is not considered Grief-Play. (This statement, however, is otherwise restricted, please see "Exploiting / Utilizing the Game Mechanics" Impersonating GMs and GSs is prohibited.
Exploits:
The exploitation of bugs is not allowed. This destroys both, game and fun. If you stumble over an error in the game please contact GM or GS.
*Game Mechanics: Game mechanics are constructs of rules intended to produce an enjoyable game or game play. All games use mechanics; however, theories and styles differ as to their ultimate importance to the game. In general, the process and study of game design are efforts to come up with game mechanics that allow for people playing a game to have a fun and engaging experience. This applies to the Guards, glitching bosses ect. They are considered part of the gaming style.
Accounts:
Every player is solely responsible for his own game account. Make sure that no unauthorized persons gain knowledge of your game account data. The support team will not recover any mischief caused by the propagation of game account data to any third party or by insufficient measures of security. Disseminating the game account is not allowed, neither in return for payment nor for other rewards.
Guild Leaders: Guild Ware House is under YOUR control. What happens in guild stays in guild you are responsible for it! Staff is not responsible for anything that gets removed from Guild warehouse or guild accounts!
In Game Rules For EVENTS and PVP:
Bosses should be called out only if they are for events to insure all are aware of what is happening.
No Guild Raids are allowed for Events or PVP unless the server population doesn't allow for single raids.
No spawn killing. Those that wish to repeatedly spawn kill and exploit player skills to attack those on the spawn points will have thier kills wiped. Those that are in raid and gaining kills from these offenses are also subject to punishment as an accomplice and may have thier kills removed for not trying to stop it, by way of verbal request to the offender or reporting the offense, or at least leaving the zone to avoid taking part in the stat padding.
Skype, and all other forms of online communication:
Chats and Verbal conversations DO NOT apply to ToS Unless the conversation Consist of a [GM],[GMA],[ADM]. When one of those staff members that are listed above enter the Chat ToS applies.

Speed Enchanter:
Speed enchanter allows you to defy standard game mechanics and is therefore not allowed. It also allows you to enchant items that should not be enchanted. If you are caught with an item that should not be enchanted then your account will be banned and there will be no chance of getting it back. This rule is non-negotiable and accounts in question will not be allowed an appeal.
Donations:
Donations do not in anyway allow a player to obtain the right to disobey these terms of service. Donations are ONLY for prolonging the server life and are not a means of abusing the server or its occupants.
